A teachable moment

A+ for subtlty to the headline writer for this AP story (12/19/2007): "Lynne Spears' parenting book delayed indefinitely."

Perhaps that subtlty is also why no one is asking Christian book publishers like Thomas Nelson Inc. (which has scotched its plans for Spears' book without explanation) or leading Christian conservatives, for that matter, how on earth it is that during the last eight years of the most holier-than-thou presidency in U.S. history, teen pregnancy and abortion rates are both up.

Is it any surprise that pride is considered the worst of the seven sin.
