Ernesto on My Mind
As we approach the one-year anniversary of Katrina's landfall, we find ourselves tensing for another hurricane. Ernesto became the first hurricane of the season and is just now lashing Haiti and Jamaica. While it looks in earlier projections to be heading directly for New Orleans, most of the computer models seem to be predicting that Florida will take the brunt. Still, anyone in the gulf can tell you how unpredictable these things can be.
Come what may, we've got an evacuation plan and are ready to go. If we have to leave let's just hope it's only for a long weekend.
